Foxglove

OBSERVATION:

This is a photo I took with my son, of a foxglove at Indian Falls lookout, on the way up Mt. Marcy, as we were on our way to climb Mt. Haystack on August 10th of this year.  I was surprised to see this flower, as I have never seen one like it anywhere else on this mountain, or on any others in the High Peaks.  This was the only one there.
