A True "WEB" Cam

OBSERVATION: .. I've noticed recently that the photos from the web cam on the museum site have been kind of fuzzy, hazy, distorted, obscured.  I thought it was dust and moisture and such which had collected on the lens.  But, instead it seems there is an individual who has been tampering with the lens, covering it repeatedly as the elements dislodge the nefarious gauzy cloak.  You may be wondering how I know this... I caught a pic of her!!!  I look at that camera dozens of times a day, so it was inevitable that I would eventually be able to expose her.  I saved the incriminating photo...

As you can see, I spied her (lol) in the act of spinning a new web after the rain had washed out the old one. It's a shame that the photo's are not clear .. I love looking at those mountains, but our spider's handiwork can be quite decorative ~ it looks like a fine lace doily embellished with crystal beads.

So, as it turns out.. it was just a problem with the web after all.  LOL
