Join ACLP’s Loon Conservation Efforts!

Become an ACLP Volunteer:
Learn more about the wildlife and habitats in the Adirondack Park! By observing the unique vocalizations and behaviors of Adirondack loons, you will gain a better appreciation of this beautiful symbol of the wilderness and northern lakes, as well as understand how different factors affect both individual birds and the population as a whole. Volunteer opportunities with the ACLP include monitoring banded loons, participating in the annual census, reconnaissance, and conducting education programs.

To volunteer for the Adirondack Cooperative Loon Program, please e-mail ACLP’s Program Manager: aclp2-prgm-mgr@juno.com.
