Adirondack Weather Science Project

Located half way between the equator and the North Pole, the Adirondack Region offers a spectrum of temperatures, precipitations, winds, and weather events.  A change of 150 degrees F from summer to winter, lake-effect snow storms dropping 36 inches of snow in one night, and summers with 30+ days of rain provide a climate of extremes.

Join us in reporting the weather in your part of the Adirondacks and ask the experts questions about meteorological events you have seen.
